Â鶹´«Ã½ has risen 15 places to 62nd in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2022.
The rise, from 77th last year, places Â鶹´«Ã½ in the top 70 global institutions ranked for the first time.
The THE Young University Rankings provide a ranking of universities aged 50 years old or younger. The list is made up of universities measured from across the world. Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s highest placing in the THE Young University Rankings comes as the university marks its 30th year of official university status in 2022.
The rankings are based on 13 performance indicators, including teaching, research (including research citations), international outlook, and industry income.

When using the dropdown options on the Rankings to view the data by country, Â鶹´«Ã½ places second out of the UK universities ranked in the THE Young University 2022 rankings.
Â鶹´«Ã½ was placed in 95th in 2020, appearing in the top 100 for the first time and between 101-150 in 2019, as Â鶹´«Ã½ has consistently risen in the global rankings.
