AsianFest Returns in Person; Night Market New for Asian American Month

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will conclude Asian American Month by bringing back in person the ever-popular community event AsianFest on Saturday, April 30. Plus, the Year of the Tiger celebration will include a new event, Night Market, the evening before. Admission and parking are FREE for both events!

Night Market

Night Market will take place on April 29, from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the FCC College Mall and Veterans Peace Memorial grass area. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ invites the community to come and enjoy live entertainment, vendors, and of course, delicious food. Enjoy strolling the campus to shop for great treasures while listening to Play Marimba a local band that features Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.

Night Market will feature a Sake and Beer Garden fundraiser for Asian student scholarships at Âé¶¹´«Ã½. A Sake Master will conduct a Sake Tasting event from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with Asian rice and plum wines. 

Asian American students at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ need scholarship support. The AAFASA is committed to supporting the Asian American Student Scholarship at Âé¶¹´«Ã½.

AsianFest

AsianFest is on Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Veterans Peace Memorial grass area and down the College Mall.

AsianFest promotes the importance of cultural diversity and inclusion by showcasing the cultural heritage of the thriving Central Valley community. It provides a fun and entertaining family experience that nurtures community collaboration and builds lifelong friendships. It also enhances the ethnic pride and self-esteem of all the participating community members.

AsianFest celebrates Asian American culture and showcases the talents of   community performers, martial artists, and cultural organizations. Visitors will experience culture through colorful performances, exhibits, demonstrations, crafts, and food. AsianFest delights with an Anime & Cosplay village complete with Anime wrapped cars, children’s activities, an international fashion show, craft vendors, and a Sake & Beer Garden! Experience a whirlwind of culture in one amazing day at AsianFest!
