Dr. Vang is the daughter of Hmong refugee parents, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for education.  Throughout her many years as a student, and now as an educator, she continues to be an advocate for higher education as a vehicle for empowerment, transformation, and economic mobility.  Dr. Vang taught high school English for 20 years before coming to Â鶹´«Ã½.  She loves what she does, and believes her life truly exemplifies the American Dream.  Dr. Vang is also a proud wife and mother.
