The Travel and Conference Funding Committee screens requests and encumbers funds for faculty travel & conference and Flex Day activities on behalf of the Academic Senate (Operating Agreement, Spring 2025).
The committee is responsible for reviewing, allocating, and approving faculty requests for Travel and Conference funds awarded to the Academic Senate. The Committee also determines criteria for funding Travel and Conference activities.
The committee meets every Wednesday that Academic Senate meets from 2-3 p.m. Agendas are posted to Board Docs the Friday prior to the Wednesday meeting. The meeting schedule for Spring 2026 is:
