Offered through State Center’s Training Institute, this cohort-based, not-for-credit program equips you with the knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence to earn yourÌýCommercial Driver’s License (CDL)Ìýand start working in one of California’s most in-demand industries.

Program Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid Class C driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screen

Advisory Notes

  • The state of California requires criminal record clearance through fingerprinting when applying for licensure
  • This is a fee-based program that is not-for-credit (scholarships are available)

*Scholarships are available through the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation’s Good Jobs Challenge program for those who may be unemployed or underemployed. Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received up to five (5) working days before the course start date are refundable, minus aÌý$25Ìýprocessing fee. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee. Please note that if you don’t cancel and don’t attend, you are still responsible for payment.
